S Hotel – Shimoga

This contemporary styled luxurious hotel is located in Shimoga city. As the site being narrow it offers a great challenge to have a structure. The building is more linear and all the room are positioned in the exterior, facing the road gets good natural light and ventilation and the service areas are kept inside. The ground floor of the hotels includes the entrance lobby which serves as a multi use space including the functions of waiting area & the reception area. Indoor & outdoor restaurants are located on the left side of the lobby which accommodates 50 seats. Right side of the entry, in houses an Ice cream & sweet parlour. Ground floor of the hotel also accommodates the fine dine which is capacitated with 66 seats. The first, second & third floors accommodates 36 bedrooms; each consists of 12 rooms each. All the rooms are placed in a way that they have an exterior focus with a good privacy. All rooms are elegantly furnished and provided with all modern comforts. The terrace floor accommodates a Banquet hall which is capacitated over 54 seats. The large open windows in Banquet hall allows maximum natural light to spill in. Terrace floor also includes family bar & bar which can accommodate 40 & 70 seats respectively. Expansive and warm, it offers upholster furniture, along with lots of table and bar seating. The hotel facade is highlighted by combination of wooden louvers & sand stone cladding.
